Days Until a Date Calculator

The days unitil date calculator checks how many days are left until a specific future date, or how many days have passed since a date in the past. Just enter the date you're interested in, and the tool will show you the result. For example, if the date is May 15, 2025, and you enter December 25, 2025, the calculator will show that there are 224 days left until that day.

How to Use This Calculator:

  1. Enter Target Date: Select or type your desired "Target Date" using the date picker (YYYY-MM-DD format).
  2. View Result: The calculator will instantly show you the number of days until your target date or the number of days that have passed since that date. Results include total days, as well as approximate weeks, months, and years.
  3. Today's Date: "Today's Date" is shown for reference and is based on your local current date.
  4. Reset: Click "Reset Target Date" to set the target date.

Note: The current day and target day are considered as whole days in the calculation. Leap years are also taken into account to show the result. But, if you want to calculate the date only, see here.
